Chihuly in the Botanic Garden

 

The Chihuly in the Botanic Garden exhibition event offers volunteers the opportunity to engage visitors and explore the work of the world’s most celebrated contemporary glass artist, Dale Chihuly.

Chihuly volunteers are ambassadors for the exhibition and our beautiful garden.
 
Current opportunities available:

Chihuly Visitor Engagement Volunteers
Welcome, look after and engage visitors as they explore the Chihuly in the Botanic Garden exhibition, and Adelaide Botanic Garden. Tasks include assisting with:

- Greeting visiting members of the public, assisting with way-finding and answering visitor inquiries to the best of your knowledge
- Exhibition invigilation: be visible to members of the public, assisting with minor exhibition care and maintenance
- Record visitor feedback and assist with online visitor surveys
- Have fun and be intrigued by the exhibition and the Adelaide Botanic Garden.

Chihuly Exhibition Guides
Develop and present guided tours for visitors of the Chihuly in the Botanic Garden exhibition, and the focus exhibition in the Bicentennial Conservatory, In Full Colour: Dale Chihuly.

Chihuly Public Programs and Events Volunteers
Support staff with events, talks and workshops. Selected volunteers from the team will also support Access programs, Education and Family-focused activities.
