Due to the extreme heat forecast for Saturday 22 February, the Bicentennial Conservatory, where In Full Colour: Dale Chihuly is held, will be CLOSED from 2pm to ensure the safety of visitors, staff and volunteers. It will reopen for Chihuly Nights.

Our horticulture volunteers support staff undertaking garden maintenance work in the garden.

Current opportunities available:

Horticultural volunteer

Tasks may include:

Supporting Botanic Gardens and State Herbarium horticultural staff undertaking garden maintenance such as weeding, mulching and pruning.
Active role in caring for our important plant collections.
Working in a team environment
Some botanical knowledge is needed, and physical agility is required for some tasks.
