Due to the extreme heat forecast for Saturday 8 March, the Bicentennial Conservatory, where In Full Colour: Dale Chihuly is held, will be CLOSED from 2pm to ensure the safety of visitors, staff and volunteers. It will reopen for Chihuly Nights.

Can you survive one year living on Mars, using plants and experimental technologies?
Reimagine the iconic temperate rainforest of the Bicentennial Conservatory as an Augmented Reality Biodome Simulator for space travel.
Students become ‘Futurenauts’, as they navigate the gamified app, Project Space Botany and are asked to plan and build a Biodome, using plant science and planetary sphere knowledge to survive one year.
During the experience, students move through the living collection and problem-solve to design an ultimate closed-loop system.
