Learning Hub

New to the education offerings suite as of 2024, the Botanic Gardens and State Herbarium are excited to offer a new range of digital learning resources to bring the beauty of the Botanic Gardens from our classroom to yours!

Each unit has been designed to encourage students to get excited about the natural world and can be taught in conjunction with an excursion to the Botanic Gardens or as a school-based learning experience.

These curriculum aligned, flexible resources cover a variety of curriculum areas and year levels.

Resources include PowerPoints, teacher notes, printable worksheets, scaffolding and extension ideas, videos and quizzes to support students in learning about the wonders that nature provides.

Please make sure to read the unit plan and topic outline document for learning intentions and success criteria as well as curriculum connections.
